It’s not hard to recognise that many of our UK high street stores our also french fashion lovers, and often try to resemble the Parisian charm and elegance in their own designs. New Look has recently added the AX Paris label to some of there larger stores, specialising in occasion wear, featuring some fabulous dresses.
But one of my personal favourite stores that I feel reflect French elegance well is River Island. From somebody who has worked in fashion, it is easy for me to spot the essential pieces on the River Island website that would bring a certain je ne sais quoi charm – whether you’re in Calais or Cardiff!
